Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Can you quote a new-venture trucking authority?
Yes. New-venture is harder to place — most general carriers decline anything under 12 months of authority — but we have markets that take it. Expect first-year pricing to carry a surcharge that drops materially after 12 months of clean history.
Do you file BMC-91 and BMC-34 with FMCSA?
Yes, on every interstate motor-carrier account where the commodity or shipper requires them. BMC-91 establishes financial responsibility for liability; BMC-34 covers cargo. We file directly so you do not have to coordinate between the carrier and FMCSA.
What primary liability limit do most PA shippers want?
Most ask for $1,000,000 on the COI, regardless of statutory minimum. We start there for owner-operators and fleets unless the lane mix or commodity calls for more.
Need a different line of coverage?
Switch to another quote wizard. Each is calibrated to its line of coverage so we ask only what we need.
