Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
What's included in a typical BOP for PA small business?
General liability, commercial property (building or contents), and business interruption. Most BOPs include hired-and-non-owned auto and limited employment practices liability as standard. Cyber and professional liability are usually separate.
Do I need workers' compensation for an LLC with one owner?
Pennsylvania does not require comp for the LLC owner alone. Once you bring on any W-2 or 1099 helper, comp is required. We can write the BOP and comp at the same carrier or different carriers depending on which prices better.
Can you write a business with prior claims?
Yes, but the carrier panel narrows. Two or more claims in five years tends to bump a business out of standard markets and into surplus-lines or program markets. We tell you upfront which markets are realistic given your loss history.
Need a different line of coverage?
Switch to another quote wizard. Each is calibrated to its line of coverage so we ask only what we need.
